No blanking plug for the threaded hole in the white part
I removed the front blue part and bolted it to my box without the white angled part. What I had not realised is that at the other end of the white part there is a threaded hole for some sort of cable entry conduit or gland. If you were going to screw this white part on a vertical surface out in the open with the blue part at the bottom, you would need to find a waterproof plug for the threaded hole. Without a waterpfoof plug the rain will run inside on to the wires.I removed the front blue part and bolted it to my box without the white angled part.
