      Superb upgrade at a great price

      Love the performance. Using Seagate's free software I cloned the old drive's 500gb onto this 1tb drive, swapped data cable onto this drive and immediately went back to work without a single glitch... Perfect replacement and the solid state is learning my usage and speeding up all tasks. The price amazed my friends, and they are planning to order drives for themselves.

      Seagate SSHD

      The price is right for this SSHD. However it doesn't perform as advertised. It may be slightly faster then a standard HD but no where even remotely close to a Solid State Hard Drive. Only time will tell how reliable this drive is. It still produces heat like a conventional hard drive and you can hear it run. It is definitely quieter then a standard hard drive.

      Super Hard drive!

      The only thing I hear now is the DVD at start up and the cooling fan for the power source. Very fast!! No problems at all running Windows 7.
