Terms and conditions of the sale
The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately and thoroughly upon delivery and any discrepancies or apparent defects must be marked on both copies of the delivery note. The word unexamined put on a delivery note will not be accepted, as it is the Buyers contractual obligation to inspect the goods immediately and thoroughly upon delivery. Any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with description or sample must be notified to the Seller within 48 hours of delivery and confirmed in writing within 7 days of delivery. In the event of any complaint being properly notified the Buyer shall afford the Seller an opportunity to inspect the Goods within a reasonable time following delivery and before any use is made of them. If the Buyer shall fail to comply with these provisions or if at the Buyers request goods are left at a point where no authorized person accepts delivery the Goods shall be conclusively presumed to be in accordance with the contract and free from any shortage defect or damage which would be apparent on a reasonable examination of the Goods and the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods and shall have no claim against the Seller.
 
The Buyer shall notify the Seller of any non-delivery of a whole consignment within 48 hours of the date of anticipated delivery. Notwithstanding the receipt by the Seller of any such notice a clear signature on a carrier’s delivery advice sheet shall be deemed to signify receipt of the quantity of cartons indicated on the advice sheet.
 
If the Goods are not in accordance with the contract for any reason the Seller shall be entitled to replace or repair (or a proportionate part of the price) or make a further delivery to make up the deficiency.
 
Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the Seller’s negligence or in respect of breach of a statutory right of a buyer dealing as a consumer the Seller’s liability to the Buyer, whether for any breach of contract or otherwise, shall not in any event exceed the Price.
 
The Seller shall be under no liability for any direct loss and/or expense or indirect loss and/or expense suffered by the Buyer or liability to third parties incurred by the Buyer.
 
All warranties and conditions whether implied by statute or otherwise are excluded from this contract Provided that nothing in this contract shall restrict or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Seller or affect the statutory rights of a buyer dealing as consumer.
 
The Seller shall not be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, tempest or other event beyond the reasonable control of either party.
 
GUARANTEE
Providing that goods are returned to the Seller using the original carton and label supplied when the goods were delivered and provided that the goods have not been abused the Seller will replace any defective goods within 12 months of purchase free of charge.
On the return of any goods to the Seller in accordance with 5.8.1 a discharge test will be carried out by the Seller to determine whether the goods are faulty useable or have been subject to abuse. If the goods are useable or have been subject to abuse the original goods will be returned to the Buyer and the buyer will be liable to the carriage charges incurred. If the goods are faulty they will be replaced
The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the Buyer’s equipment is in 100% good condition and that the charger is correct for the “cyclic” battery they are using.

    Lucas 7 ah battery

    This an excellent battery, I use it to power 30w of led lights and get over 3 good hours from it. It is a very manageable size and weight too. My experience of previous Lucas batteries promises it will hold its charge well...recommended!

    Not fit for purpose

    I purchased this battery to replace the original which was inside jump starter/ air pump. So due to the high current level when used as a jump starter the battery connections were large! The battery that I received, although to exactly the same specifications only has small push on connections! So no use for jump starting high current! No good!

    Good battery, quick delivery

    Will have to be good to equal the ride on mower battery (8 years old) it has replaced. So far it has plenty power to start biggish 4 stroke engine. Only time will tell if it provides reasonable life span

    Lucas, a brand name to trust!

    The fact that this battery is designed for deep discharge applications (as well as cyclic apps) make this battery a clear winner. Almost fully charged on receipt it works well powering an old 100 watt halogen video lamp.
