I initially asked this seller if they sold the ballast seperate but they quickly responded advising they only sold the full units. So I brought a full unit and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. One thing worth mentioning is the description says "Takes 28W 4 pin TC-DD 2D lamp (not supplied)" but with my order there was a lamp/bulb provided.. so maybe this needs updating or clarifying with the seller. Otherwise great service and kit, thanks.

Efficient but too loud
A good fan, neat and discreet on the wall. Instructions for fitting wholly inadequate. No mention of the need to connect/bridge both live terminals when wiring direct to a wall mounted isolator switch. When you connect the live an neutral as instructed the fan won't run. Only found out what to do be reading the reviews from other buyers. It's also worth noting that the noise level is high, significantly louder than the more expensive Manrose equivalent. Shutters ineffective
When shutters are closed and windy outside it wails like a demented banshee due to gaps at sides of shutters. Shame as otherwise a good strong fan.
