Terms and conditions of the sale
The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately and thoroughly upon delivery and any discrepancies or apparent defects must be marked on both copies of the delivery note. The word unexamined put on a delivery note will not be accepted, as it is the Buyers contractual obligation to inspect the goods immediately and thoroughly upon delivery. Any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with description or sample must be notified to the Seller within 48 hours of delivery and confirmed in writing within 7 days of delivery. In the event of any complaint being properly notified the Buyer shall afford the Seller an opportunity to inspect the Goods within a reasonable time following delivery and before any use is made of them. If the Buyer shall fail to comply with these provisions or if at the Buyers request goods are left at a point where no authorized person accepts delivery the Goods shall be conclusively presumed to be in accordance with the contract and free from any shortage defect or damage which would be apparent on a reasonable examination of the Goods and the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods and shall have no claim against the Seller.
 
The Buyer shall notify the Seller of any non-delivery of a whole consignment within 48 hours of the date of anticipated delivery. Notwithstanding the receipt by the Seller of any such notice a clear signature on a carrier’s delivery advice sheet shall be deemed to signify receipt of the quantity of cartons indicated on the advice sheet.
 
If the Goods are not in accordance with the contract for any reason the Seller shall be entitled to replace or repair (or a proportionate part of the price) or make a further delivery to make up the deficiency.
 
Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the Seller’s negligence or in respect of breach of a statutory right of a buyer dealing as a consumer the Seller’s liability to the Buyer, whether for any breach of contract or otherwise, shall not in any event exceed the Price.
 
The Seller shall be under no liability for any direct loss and/or expense or indirect loss and/or expense suffered by the Buyer or liability to third parties incurred by the Buyer.
 
All warranties and conditions whether implied by statute or otherwise are excluded from this contract Provided that nothing in this contract shall restrict or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Seller or affect the statutory rights of a buyer dealing as consumer.
 
The Seller shall not be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, tempest or other event beyond the reasonable control of either party.
 
GUARANTEE
Providing that goods are returned to the Seller using the original carton and label supplied when the goods were delivered and provided that the goods have not been abused the Seller will replace any defective goods within 12 months of purchase free of charge.
On the return of any goods to the Seller in accordance with 5.8.1 a discharge test will be carried out by the Seller to determine whether the goods are faulty useable or have been subject to abuse. If the goods are useable or have been subject to abuse the original goods will be returned to the Buyer and the buyer will be liable to the carriage charges incurred. If the goods are faulty they will be replaced
The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the Buyer’s equipment is in 100% good condition and that the charger is correct for the “cyclic” battery they are using.

    Ideal compact 18h gold battery

    tbh I've only used it for one round so far on my home fairly hilly course and it did the job OK. Being Lucas I;ll assume it should be of good quality. I like the compactness to fit my Motocaddy trolley neatly and is relatively lightweight

    Incorrect lead supplied

    Battery received and immediately noticed that the connection to my Hill Billy trolley was the wrong way around, i.e. the red and black connectors did not match the same connectors on the trolley. I overcame this problem by reversing the connections on the battery so that the black connectors paired with the red connectors. Unsatisfactory but appeared to work. And it would not be possible to connect the 2 leads together using the same colours, i.e. red to red, black to black. I suspect that the wrong lead was sent.

    Little powerhouse battery.

    Good battery very heavy for it's size and replaced the old one in my Clarke jump start with a few more amps, slightly different terminals but a bit of modification on the leads sorted it.
