Seems to be well made. A bit concerned that it's unserviceable and should the jack socket come loose, it would be a case of "in the bin or fetch the hammers". Sounds fine, as good as a wooden box with a couple of piezos can sound. One must be expected to EQ, compress, noise gate, and reverb the signal to make it sound any more that a "Pak" sound. That's pretty common for stompboxes. No real complaints, but it could have arrived on time. It was a day too late for a gig I had booked, but I managed

Thanks for the feedback. Just to say there have never been any instances of the jack socket becoming loose in the 7 years I have been producing the Beat Root. If the stomper is used with an adequate amp (ideally a PA ) then noise gates and compressors are not necessary. As with any analog stompbox EQ is needed - but not essential - to dial in the desired tone, and yes, most instruments benefit from a little reverb.
