good value and I liked the variety of rings
I like the variety of rings once I got used to which one worked best for which saucepan. I have not used gas for a long time and after solid fuel cooking I did burn a few things but my own fault! I had to buy a trivet so that my cafetiere pot stood firmly on the smallest ring. Seems to be good value for money too.

Generally a tidy unit for the price. A few quibbles - the sealing strips supplied, to be fitted between the unit and the worktop, were the wrong size so no use, the turndown on the burners is barely sufficient, even when reduced to the minimum the low flame is still quite high on the larger rings, and although the unit passed the gas safety test it does bleed by gas very slightly even when fully closed (noticeable on a 1 hour pressure drop test not usually carried out), also you have to press the controls down very hard to get them to over-ride the FSD initially. Have seen better units than this for similar price.Generally a tidy unit for the price. good & cheap & free insurance easy to clean but back large burner to close to wall to use large pots & pans if you use large pots & pans on the front burners you could burn your fingers because they be overlapping over the control nobs only suitable for small pot & pans

Cheap is a false economy
The narrow crimped edge and foam seals provided make this difficult to seat properly on the worktop. Self tapping screws into the underside tin body of the hob stripped the thread before tightening the hob sufficiently. In one corner the underside wasn't secured to the top, which sits on the worktop so tightening the clips pulled the underside away from the top rather than pulling the top securely onto the worktop.
