I bought this with the intention of setting up RAID on my new PC. This is EXACTLY the same drive that came in it, down to the firmware code. Now I'm thinking I might rather use it to extend my internal storage to 1.5 TB. I already have a 1 TB networked drive for backups for two PCs. I've always had excellent performance and reliability from Seagate. In my opinion they are the best.
Works perfectly, no issues have turned up to date. Highly reccomend, the price of memory is really foing down & this drive makes a good addition for anyone needing more space
