The seller was very responsive with suggested alternatives. I finally purchased Dupli-Color Prep Spray to clean the sill surface before installation. Adhesion is good so far. The trim looks great on my F-150 Lariat. The trim is flat, covering only the vertical surface of the sill. The factory trim (on the top model F-150s) covers the vertical and part of horizontal surface of the sill.
