I was a tad nervous about spending this amount on a part that I could not guarantee was the problem. The question always is - should I just buy a new printer? But as a new printer was fout times the price of the head and it was an excellent Brother wireless printer. There are good videos on YouTube and it only takes about 10 minutes to strip the printer down, and changing the head is easy - just remember to keep the rubber gasket on the ink connection on the old head and take not of the two different ends of the guide graticule strip. Same time to reassembe the printer, then the longest job is repeated head cleaning to fill it with ink. So for me the bet paid off well! I believe that I have now also cleaned the dried ink out of of the old head and will keep it as a spare. Overall ...
