    Great sat nav with a wealth of features and world wide maps.

    I am going on holiday to Canada so wanted a sat nav or map to use, this was the most cost effective way. I have been using the 910 since I got it(I normally use a one XL). I found the 910 very easy and the remote is much more useful than I expected. The hands free is very good and the memory is fantastic for putting books and music on. The main down side I have found is the weight of the unit makes it liable the drop in the holder and fall downwards sometimes when using. My overall experience is very good and would recommend this unit.

    TomTom GO 910 Automotive GPS Receiver

    I bought this satnav a few weeks ago because my previous TomTom Go500 fell off the windscreen screen down on to the gear shift and busted the screen making it unuseable. I bought this also for the Europe maps as planning a trip to Germany in September. I have used it a few times and found it great after downloading Billy Connelly's voice from the TomTom site. This has a 20gig hard drive with plenty of room for music and pictures. The only thing I find a little annoying is the screen mount doesn't stick to the screen too well, so hoping it doesn't suffer the same fate as my previous 500. Maybe superglue will work! All in all a piece of great kit, good volume (as I am a bit hard of hearing) and very clear screen. Yes, I recommend this to anyone.

    The World Tom Tom

    Great bit of kit - it stops the 'nagavator' talking and leaves me to listen to a selection of attractive blonds or are they brunettes today? Plenty of maps - I'm looking forward to using it on Guam - although the previous careful owner had not updated them so about £40 later that was done. Like all satnavs you need to be aware of the thing taking down strange alleyways but overall a great help. I bought it to use in the USA as I visit regularly so I hope and trust that it will be good enough for that challenge. I'm off to Spain soon so that will test the European maps - I'm taking maps jusi in case! It is a bit heavy for its mounting gismo so tends to droop - I know how it feels! I now just position it to droop a little on to the fascia. I've found that while it warns that a heat ...

    It works well when it works, but in my experience it does not work well for

    I bought this unit because of the many features it offers, including maps of US, Canada and essentially all of Europe. I used it in North America and in Europe and the maps were accurate for the most part of it. However, this model is very fickle and gave me lots of problems. In fact, I owned two of those and both of them died on me within a relatively short time period. It freezes up easily and when it does it basically cannot be repaired. TomTom does not provide any customer service for this model anymore.
