Forest Whitaker lends his Oscar-winning talent to this animated fantasy. In DRAGON HUNTERS, Zoe doesn’t exactly fit in with her traveling companions. She is a young, blonde girl who believes in fairytales and heroes. Gwizdo is a short, greedy businessman who chases dragons for profit with the help of the hulking, but childlike, strongman Lian-Chu.     Dragon Hunters (DVD, 2009)

    What a great family movie! I had never actually even heard of it until my great nephew showed me at the store. What a nice surprise. I suspected it would be another lame animated movie, with the same storylines and jokes. But it was very good! Very action packed for a child's movie. The ending was enjoyable and the characters were funny. My great nephew, who is 5, really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great "family movie night" choice!
