I’ve used this pen many times it’s a lot better than those yellow ph metres you can buy on eBay for 2 or 3 pound .buy this all day before you buy those dreadful China made meters ...ps there’s no price for them

Great but needs buffer solutions
As a pool owner, few things matter more than maintaining the pH. It has a profound effect on the levels of chlorine, the growth of algae and water safety for swimmers. Having a reliable and convenient tester is essential. This tool works perfectly. I only have one quibble. It needs to be accurately calibrated, using buffer solutions of known pH value to be trusted. It was mildly annoying to get the device, read the blurb and then have to return to ebay to find some buffer materials.I strongly recommend that the seller adds a few cheap sachets of buffer powder to the package.As a pool owner, few things matter more than maintaining the pH. Perfect if you tune it right
I used Vitalink ph buffer 4 and 7 I used 4 tuned it at the back with screw to 4.00 Dipped it into filtered water then to 7 should read 7.01 and 4.01 If not dip in water wipe and go back to buffer 4 you might see the reading is off fine tune to 4.01 then check buffer 7 should be 7.01 then dip in 4 now say 4.01 perfect once mastered and accurate on all had to play around
