It's fairly lightweight, about 600g with grass trimmers blade, a little heavier with the shrub trimmer blade. It is what I needed and charges in about 3/4 hours. It does not come with a charging plug but does have the required charging cable. A regular phone charger plug will work. The green plug attached to the handle is a safety device, you can't operate the trimmer until it is plugged in.
