Have had to bin several other kettles due to their no longer working due usually to a faulty connection but these old fashioned kettles with their standard connection are much more reliable and never let you down and last for many years my last one for over ten and only stopped working due to my over filling it and water got in to the electrics .great big kettles

Well designed large kettle
Holds more than enough water for a pot of tea and washing up afterwards. Fairly quiet in use. Do not stand on a surface that is not heatproof as the base gets quite hot.
