Really excellent ball head for a budget price
I own and have owned many types of tripod heads including ball heads. My favourite ones for a long time for what I do have been Giottos, Feisol, and Sirui.. After reading several reviews of this Demon DB44 curiosity got the best of me and I ordered it. The build quality is excellent and the ball locks down really solidly with little effort. The inner tension ring built next to the main knob colored blue is a great design and works very well in my opinion. I would buy another one of these without hesitation and highly recommend this ball head .. You could easily pay double the price of this head and have no advantage.. Worth your bucks
This head is, I hope, the last step in a long line of ball heads. It has performed perfectly so far and is very dependable in maintaining position. I've replaced the attachment clamp with a lever actuated one that I prefer. In fact, I'd recommend that to anyone as once you try it, you'll never go back. So quick and so secure. This head has done all I've asked of it and holds a Canon 5DIII with a battery pack and a 70-200 2.8 without any problem or slips.This head is, I hope, the last step in a long line of ball heads.
