    Much better than an old mechanical time switch. Recommended.

    I bought it to replace a mechanical time switch. This is a great improvement. You can set the on and off times to the minute instead of the old quarter hour segments. Also it has a built-in battery backup so if there is a power outage it doesn't lose the time. Setting is fairly easy, but the choice of days of the week could have been better designed. Apart from that, it's great.

    Small neat digital timer

    Bought this to control a dehumidifier twice a day, works wonderfully. The instructions seem quite complicated but are easy if you go a stage at a time. I would recommend this timer, both for the reasonable cost and it usefulness.
