    Tintin DVD boxed set

    My first acquaintance with Tintin was as a young boy of about 10 years of age, long before DVD technology existed. In those days the Tintin adventures only existed in book form and I owned 6 slim books that resembled magazines/comics of the day. I was aware of the other adventures of Tintin but I could not afford them on my pocket money. Instead I borrowed them from my school and the local public library. My favourite adventure is 'Tintin and The Crab with the Golden Claws'. Now, almost 55 years later, I can afford the DVD boxed set of the Tintin adventures. I purchased the boxed set once before but gave it away as a gift. I don't regret giving the gift but I did regret losing my only copy of the Tintin DVD adventures. I promised myself that one day I would replace it but new copies are ...
