    Simple cost effective repair option , researched my problem on internet concluded the thermostat was possibly the cause. Easy to replace dryer now working great. Saved me hundreds of pounds in engineer costs or replacing dryer.

    NOT an "Original" Miele component

    Part arrived quickly but it is NOT an "ORIGINAL" Miele T8822 thermostat. Miele fit the 36FXH16, 165 degree cut-out thermostat (as pictured in the listing) but the part supplied is a KSD301G (160 degree cut out). Yes, it will fit a T8822 Miele tumble dryer and it will work but it is NOT an original Miele Part and can easily be bought elsewhere for a fraction of the price.

    Genuine Miele Thermostat

    A Genuine Miele Thermostat works out cheaper in the long run for me. I tried a copy part and it lasted 3 years. However, you must keep the machine free of fluff or it will overheat and the Thermostat will blow again, leading to an overhaul and another new Thermostat.
