    Shallow termination box

    I had an issue with my coaxial cable being terminated in a wire mold box that was not deep enough to accommodate a straight fitting termination and utilize a box cover. These 90 degree fitting were the answer to my problem . They worked great. They were inexpensive and shipped to me in several days. I also used them on the output side of the cover to streamline , neaten up , the cable routing to the TV control box. A simple and inexpensive way to solve or streamline cable installation and routing .

    Poor quality adapters.

    These adapters do work. But, they are poor quality build. I was using these for custom engineering jobs that required soldering to the male signal lead of this connector. Just the brief, little heat from my soldering iron melted the plastic insulators inside and breeched the integrity of the insulation, rendering the entire connector useless. These insulator material inside these adapters is NOT teflon!

    Excellent fit for tight angles.

    These fittings are great for wall mounted flat screen TV's that need a 90 degree angle to connect the cable to the input. Most wall mounted TVs do not have enough space between the connector and the wall, attaching the cable straight in will cause it not to fit or put an extreme bend in the cable. Highly recommended for those tight spaces between the TV and the wall. They do pretty much what they appear to do, save you the headache of crushed or ill fitting cables.

    Failed

    I bought two of these for use in wiring cable on a boat. Delivery was fast and easy. Quality looked good, but on installation they fell apart. I usually use a small wrench to snug up coax connectors to be sure of a solid connection. Apparently these connectors are to be finger- tightened only. If you apply the usual tightening torque with a small wrench they come apart!
