Well made, well packaged. I'm going to drill a couple of holes and fit a grate to help the draw. 👍

Small , Compact and easy to install

I brought this unit for use in my small flat due to heating breaking and going through a divorce , so no money to get it fixed, the unit for its size is very powerful in chucking out the heat, i have been using it as a burning bucket and chucks alot of heat off. worth the money.

  • Most critical review

Needs modification to get the best out of it

first impressions its very simple but appeared a good product. once you use it though you realise its not a refined/finished product. finding flue parts seems to me to be impossible! as its such an odd size, it has so much potential to be a great little burner if a little more work was put in! and id have happily paid more if this was done! the bottom stand portion could have been boxed and fitted with an ash tray and a slot cut enabling a slide in a stainless grate to be used. a front loading door would is a much better idea and weld the top plate. so many things could be improved for not much effort turning it into a great product.... instead you get something incomplete requiring a lot of work i didnt want to do! so far iv added a front loading door and modified the vent but not having ...

  • Just bought this for next winter

designed my heating area with this in mind, so decided to get it early, and really does look well made, so I'm expecting to be warm in the winter.

  • Small but well made and proving useful.

I'm rating this based on the product and on the well written description the seller included which made clear the limitations - this is not a heating or cooking appliance. What it is, is a small (like very small - I've never before described a wood stove as 'cute') stove which can take wood up to 50mm (2") diameter and about 150mm (6") long comfortably. Any larger and it will not burn well. With smaller pieces it can burn quite fast and generates a fair amount of heat, enough to boil a kettle or provide heat for outdoor work. It could even be used as an alternative to a chiminea in a small space, though it burns a little too quickly for this purpose. I am using it to generate heat and hot water for growing plants in an outdoor nursery and it will do that well. It is solidly made and looks ...

  • Very pleased with this stove

I was surprised how small this stove is, BUT amazed how much heat it throws off, I have mine in a average sized garage, with a corrugated roof, I find wood works best but you have to keep topping it up, Brickettes are good too, but not as hot, they last longer and simmer with the damper down, say a couple of hours. I used in when the outside temp was nearly freezing!
