I’ve used them with a log burner and they give you a lot more movement than mits. It was also important to me that they didn’t feature animal skin or wool and these are a rare example that don’t. I’d flag that as a female with quite large but slender fingers the thick insulation does mean the space for fingers is a bit restricted and you have to push into that, but this might ease with use.
