Fantastic Pets is a life-simulation game in which players of all ages can design their own creatures, choosing from a selection of parts and skins to create custom virtual pets. Varieties of horns, tails, wings, and several colors and patterns are available, allowing players to create realistic, as well as truly fantastical animals. The game uses the Xbox 360 Kinect system to allow players to appear in the game, onscreen with their creatures, for augmented reality-style interaction. <br><br>By speaking voice commands, making gestures, and simply reaching out to touch the pet in the virtual game world, players can instigate a variety of realistic and entertaining behaviors. Two Fantastic Pet keepers can play at the same time, with each player and creature appearing onscreen at once, in the game's party modes.

    Repetitious but Fun interactive game for kids

    This game is fun overall (especially for kids) as a kinect game when it isn't repetitious. Players are able to interact with a fantasy virtual pet they have created through various unlockable activities. The gameplay is compelling up until a certain point where it can bog down with too much assistance and sometimes annoying control from a virtual computer guide who talks to you as you play. Although the game features good graphics and fun playtime at times it could be better if it allowed the ability to create different pets anytime or participate in all activities without the need to first acquire gems (from previously unlocked activities) to unlock and play them.

    Fantastic Pets

    The top of the case was broken when I opened it and kept falling apart. The original packaging was still on however with the seal and the disc had no scratches so I'm happy I guess.
