    Fantastic store. I’ve ordered a few bits of bird food over the past few months. The quality is fantastic, the birds are eating me out of house and home so the large quantities are a life saver. I also really appreciate how fast the delivery is so if you are running low you don’t need to wait long. Will be recommending to my parents as they get a lot of birds too. Fantastic.

      Great value - but beware of the smell!

      This 5kg sack of mealworms is excellent value for money, especially when compared to smaller quantities of worms in the shops. However, do be aware that this quantity of mealworms emit an unpleasant, musty smell. The 'raffia' type material of the sack is porous which allows the contents to keep aired but it also lets the smell of the worms out. I made the mistake of keeping the sack indoors at first but it's now in an outside cupboard where it doesn't cause a problem. I suppose another answer would be to decant the worms into sealed containers in smaller amounts. Great value for money. Lucky old birds then!

      Incorrectly described as 2kg. Company very helpful when I pointed out my costly error. Have used this Co for years no issues-mealworm are excellent. Price has rocketed recently but the product is exactly the same. Weird times even for mealworms.

      Great value for money!

      I put some of these out every morning for my garden birds and they are cleared within an hour! They have attracted so many different types of wildlife birds,such as ring neck doves, robins, starlings, bullfinch, chaffinch, wood pigeon, sparrows and watching the newly fledged birds get fed by their parents, is an absolute pleasure!

      Excellent Quality Product at a Good Price

      The mealworms arrived in good lightweight packaging that can easily be recycled. They tend to be an expensive bird food, but the Maltby's mealworm product is good value and is cheaper than many without loss of quality. The birds certainly love them! Highly recommended product and supplier.

      Brilliant Price

      This is my 3rd order from Maltbys of these mealworms & every time I’ve bought from them I’m impressed with not only the product but the service, quality, quantity & packaging. We like to feed the wild birds that come into our garden & they love these. We used to buy from another supplier but they always took an age getting to us & the actual amount never seemed to be quite right. We put these down throughout the year especially in the winter (along with other food), we seem to have the same beautiful creatures coming back time after time (especially the robins, blackbirds & wagtails), it’s a real pleasure to watch them. Can’t recommend Maltbys enough.
