I had trouble with the contact points. The part that makes contact with the distributor rotating cam was longer than my old set of points. The manual calls for the gap of 022. I had to trouble shoot why i had no spark at my spark plug. I figured out I had to set the points gap wider than called for. I ended up setting the gap 025. After that the John Deere fired right up.
I totally rebuilt this dozer from top to bottom

Well, at this point I didn't like too much with this experience. You sent me the wrong parts for that particular tractor and I have to pay for the return. I do not believe that that is good business. I will not buy anymore parts through you and I will also recommend to others not to buy through you. It would be much different if it were my fault. But in this situation it is not so.

Sorry but we were not at fault for sending you the Delco Ignition parts that you ordered for your particular model. We are unaware of what Tractor make or model you have on the internet and was not aware that your model is the Oliver 1650 until your return request. Although the Oliver 1650 model is NOT listed in the Description for this kit to fit; this kit fits only the models listed that do have the 6 Cyl Delco (Clip-held) Distributor as stated numerous times throughout this listing.
