      Great for preventing theft

      I was at work one day looking at forklifts and their battery terminals, it dawned on me ,"why not have this type of connection for your amp?" It let me mount my amp to my box and disconnect everything at once. I bring my audio system into my home, thieves are a persistent bunch. This is also perfect for disconnecting my secondary battery when my box isn't removed. Just get the dust covers for both ends. Overall I'm happy with this experiment. Only gripe was I was overzealous and didn't realize the seller was selling one plug out if the two for a complete set. The price adds up, especially when using multiple connections. If you have a high powered system, and also carry your beasts into your home I recommend these plugs. Quick, easy a d looks professional when installed.

      Missing critcal parts: Each plug is suppose to have a metal bracket that retains the cable to keep them from pulling out and possibly shorting out

      If you look at the molded plastic plug you'll see a recessed hex shape. That is not for attaching the plug to something. It is actually for a metal 2 piece bracket that holds the lugs in place not allowing them to move causing a pour connection resulting in a melted plug & a winch that stopped working in the middle of a job. Do some research because its very, very important that the 2 lugs meet making a perfect connection. Without those there isn't anything to keep them in place. I ended up having to buy 2 more because they separated enough to cause a weak connection, heating up and actually melting your plug to the pint that there was no longer power going to the winch. I have this type of plug on a couple of rechargeable forklifts & i noticed the retainer clips on those. It makes perfect ...
