On the strength of one song, buy it.
I saw " Don't Want To Fall In Love" music video only one time , but it stuck with me. The other tracks are ok, but if you like that track it is well worth having. This was my second copy. The first that I have had for about 10 years was starting to skip.

Jane Child's Self-Titled Debut Album Pushes Musical and Lyrical Limits
I'd first listened to Don't Wanna Fall In Love by this multi-talented Canadian artist back in early 1990 (when I was in high school) and I was ABSOLUTELY blown away!! I mean, that major hit was, and has ALWAYS been edgy in its instrumentation and lyrical depth. I had first listened to the entire CD just three or four years after its original release and the other tracks, though not widely acknowledged (some follow-up tracks did not rank as high as Don't Wanna Fall In Love), are equally or even more edgy and dynamic. After listening to these other tracks, I'd asked myself why some of them were not even released as singles (guess they were considered just too raw, too complex to be radio friendly). Anyway, this used CD (which is in WONDERFUL condition) has been worth every penny spent!! ... Many years ago I owned this self titled debut album by Jane Child and loved it.I had it in cassette format but with the change in technology wanted to own it in CD format for my collection! I love the song "Don't want to fall in love". This song is still hot , even after over 20 years! I loved it when I first heard it, and still jamming to it now! The other songs are nice as well. You can play it straight through!Many years ago I owned this self titled debut album by Jane Child and loved it.I had it in cassette format but with the change in technology wanted to own it in CD format for my collection! I like this Jane Child Cd, I had the tape before cd's where even considered. She has her own personal style and her voice is different from anyone I've known. She had these long and I do mean long corn-rows going down her back and who could ever foreget that nosering she had. Jane Child has disappeared from society and it sucks that whenever you get someone you like (music wise) they always seem to go away. I would really like it if they gave people like me updates or even "Whatever happened too" Anyhow, this cd is good and I had it when i was a sophmore in high school. My favorite song was 'dont wanna fall in love, love cuts just like a knife'' Check this cd out for yourself and see what ya think, everyone has their taste and mine just happens to go to the one and only Jane Child!!!!!I like this Jane Child Cd, I had the tape before cd's where even considered.
