Quite a good product. The power-on LED is inside, viewed through a little hole near the USB port; at first sight it looks as though it's missing! I had to cut the twin-core cable to shorten it and was rather astonished at how few strands of copper are inside - ok for running a phone or sat nav, but the wires do get warm if you use the cigarette lighter or a tyre inflator. If you're going to do that regularly I'd recommend soldering in a better quality cable.
