These mud flaps were delivered very quickly and well packaged. They were good quality The price was excellent. I went away and after a spell of bad weather went to fit them. Unfortunately they were not the correct ones for my vehicle. I contacted RTG explaining my predicament. Although I had received them a few weeks ago they still checked to see if they had the correct fitting ones. They did not have them but immediately arranged a free return for the originals sent. Work great with Monroe Classic shocks
I fitted two of these springs to replace a broken one (fit in pairs is best for a balanced experience). The vehicle was a Ford Fiesta 2004. I fitted new shock absorbers as well and chose Monroe standard shocks to go with them. The ride and steering were transformed. My bushes and ball joints were ok but you should check these when fitting new suspension. You'll need a spring compressor too. Lots of force at play here so get a good bench type compressor or get your local garage to make up the struts (spring and shock) for you. The individual clamp type compressors that are used around the coil (usually 3 or 4 at a time sequentially compressing or decompressing) are not suitable because this coil is oval shaped.I fitted two of these springs to replace a broken one (fit in pairs is best for a balanced experience).
