Due to the auction photos NOT being representative of merchandise, I tried to cancel within 40 minutes of ordering, but Seller refused to cancel. I messaged again within 1 day before Seller shipped, yet he still would not cancel. Item was then shipped from distributor to Seller where he took possession and could now halt the shipment, but he still insisted on forwarding it to me knowing I wanted it cancelled. So, he force fed me this item he misrepresented in his photos. Take ACTUAL pictures!

So imagine you order one box of 12 large eggs from Asda, and one box of medium eggs. When they arrive there is only one egg in each box. Now imagine you ordered a box of 25 grinding discs but only received one disc and same for the other box. Not only that but you paid twice for postage and they sent both items packaged together. Well that’s what happened to me. Contacted the seller but all I got after a week was a message thanking me for my custom. Reported to eBay and received refund by eBay

    You can't go wrong with this paint, been using it for years on practically every metal surface, lasts for years! You can use ordinary cellulose thinners with it

    Not good on non porous surface

    Hammerite has gone to crap, it used to be really good stuff but over the years they have tried to make it cheaper and for a non porous surface like metal its crap, I needed to paint some raw mild steel, the surface was filed and sanded so perfectly "keyed" and I wiped it down with IPA, the surface was perfect. The Hammerite would not go on evenly, it was all streaky and the bare metal showing more than the paint, I wiped it off using IPA then used an old tin of Rustins small job gloss black and it went on perfectly, I will never buy Hammerite again

    Professional finish paint for metal.

    It is good to be able to purchase a small quantity as there is nothing worse than going to a part used tin only to find it has gone off. This size tin was just right for the pot stands that needed repainting. Hammerite is easy to use to use and covers well.

    Smooth black paint

    Does what it says on the tin. One coat and job done for a couple of years, just need to makes sure that the area is clean and clear of grease before you start.
