In this animated feature with the Fab Four, the magical Pepperland is invaded by the Blue Meanies, who have declared war on all that is good--especially music. At the request of a befuddled emissary from Pepperland, the lads from Liverpool take a ride in their yellow submarine to aid the besieged residents in their battle.Peter Max designed the distinctive look of the animation, and the real-live Beatles themselves appear in a brief sequence at the film's end. Includes the songs "Yellow Submarine," "Just A Northern Song," "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Eleanor Rigby," "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," "Nowhere Man," "A Day in the Life," and others, as well as several orchestral numbers by noted Beatle producer George Martin.

    Going Down with Fun in Ocean Of Fun

    Yes! I saw " The Beatles Yellow Submarine " in my very early teens and has it on VHS tape years ago. Well put together fun story back then and as now, today story is fun and still work as well as can be today in year 2017. The music of The Beatles is more then great as always here. So, I do have Blu- Ray player DVD player and I still own VHS player also. So let this old guy me sit back watch " The Beatle Yellow Submarine " on his VHS player and enjoy fun again. 5 star winner in my book, best buy again.

    Good but content uncertain

    The yellow clamshell VHS case looks good and the VHS tape looks fine also. I like the Beatles well enough to be interested in seeing and the music present in the product might be hard to find in a physical store environment. In terms of the bad, I haven't really watched the product yet and so there could be potential technical difficulties when viewing the product content on the tape, but hopefully this isn't actually the case with this product.     Great tunes from the Beatles

    I grew up listening to the Beatles. I had never watched the entire movie before I ordered this VHS tape. It doesn't have any plot other than to connect the songs to the action. It was very colorful.
