Please read the below terms and conditions which apply to all XS-Clearance customers:
Payment
All items purchased via eBay must be paid within 5 days unless otherwise agreed with the our account manager - Any items that are not paid within this time frame will have to go through the resolution centre as a non-paid item which may result in a strike against your account.
We accept secure payments over the telephone by calling 0845 3016824 - Lines are open Mon-Fri from 8am until 4pm.
 
Stock
All stock is despatched from our own warehouse but at times items that appear on eBay may be out of stock - We do everything in our power to update stock availability to ensure customer satisfaction.
If your item is unfortunately out of stock we will contact you via eBay to inform you and if the stock is due in soon you have the option to wait or cancel or alternatively have another product - If the item you have ordered is obsolete we will cancel the order and refund you within 2 working days.
 
Delivery
All parcels on our standard delivery service will be delivered within 2-3 working days to Mainland UK.
Pallet delivery orders for heavy items are delivered by various carriers. No assistance will be given by the driver to move the item into your property.
All orders on our express service will be delivered within 1-2 working days to Mainland UK only.
Please note that we are allowed to legally hold orders for upto 24hours before despatch.
 
Returns policy details:
All new items sold come with a minimum 12 month warranty. Some manufacturers do offer a longer time period on warranties and this will be mentioned in the listing. Faulty items will be dealt with directly through the individual manufacturer or through our company where applicable.
All our items are listed with a full description of the fault and it is your responsibility to fully read the listing.
In the event of a product fault, please check the manufacturer's operating instructions and items such as the plug and batteries before contacting our Customer Services Department. At this time please make sure you have your invoice with details of your date of purchase and details of the product fault before calling.

If you need to make a return, you must contact us first so that we can arrange for the item to be collected. Items not returned via our returns process will not be authorised or credited or replaced.
Please return item in its’ original box & packaging. If you no longer have these you must return the item in a suitable strong box and packaging to ensure it doesn't get damaged in transit. If we do receive the item back damaged due to unsuitable packaging or lack of, NO credit/refund or replacement will be offered. Even if the item was faulty.
If you have ordered an item by mistake you can still make a return but there will be a 15% re-stocking fee. Also the item must be unused and in it’s original packaging.

Yes, the box was damaged as described so okay. However, it has been used evidenced by hairs and fluff and the switch button from high to low can only be turned into position by my 6ft4inch husband as it truly defeated me. The handle was very difficult too screw together but hubby again managed it after a bit of a struggle and he has hands like shovels... I only need this for a while so kept it as a spare.

    Very good for a quick tidy up - easy to use - sturdy and easy to empty after use

    I was pleasantly surprised when I first used the Ewbank carpet sweeper. It's very easy to assemble and empty after use. It sweeps carpets and rugs very well. Some of my hard floors are too slippery so it doesn't pick up everything. It's not very good near skirting boards though as you really need a full sweep over the dirt to pick it all up - but altogether it does a very good job and saves getting the hoover out every day,

    Let's clean up a few issues....

    There are several issues at stake here. Firstly, the sweeper offers two separate levels of height to clean different flooring, but there seems to be a problem as I can detect no change in adapting from one to the other. Secondly, I am so terribly disappointed at not being able to remove the rotating brush for cleaning; this is important as I can't remove some hair caught up at one end, resulting in limitation of the motion of my sweeper. I am still using my old Ewbank after 30 years - yeah, I took care of it -perfectly easy to take out the inner brush and give the item a complete cleanup when needed. All I needed was new rubbers on the old wheels, which you cannot get hold of now! What on earth is going on at Ewbank? I had no hesitation in ordering my Evo 3 and am sorely ...

    Excellent sweeper with great features

    I wanted a better sweeper than the basic one I have. This one has adjustable settings for different carpet thickness and works really well. My only criticism is the way handle attaches to the sweeper, poor design. Kept coming loose so I had to keep tightening it only for it to pop out, but nothing that epoxy and gaffer tape could not fix. So my bottom part of handle is now permanently attached to sweeper but that is not a problem for me but why I only gave it 4 stars, when it should have had 5.

    Ewbank sweeper

    I'm really torn about this sweeper, I went for the name ewbank and that it's made in the UK. But... the quality seems flimsy my mum has one from 30-40yrs ago and seems much more sturdy than mine, it's where the handle joins the box there seems to be far to much bend in it to last any lengh of time also some cheaper sweepers had side brushes to get to the edges, nothing on this one, it does pick up on hard floors though which some of the others don't which is why I chose it. The emptying process is good as you just pull the lever, that was the same as all those years ago though. Time will tell how this is going to last, it is really handy for a quick tidy up though.
