Worked as desribed. Installed it out of the box with no issues. The only thing preventing 5 stars is as others have mentioned, it was not packaged very well and could've easily been damaged when it was posted through my letter box onto hard floor. The packaging even ripped slightly, but I cannot fault it as it worked perfectly.

Just what was needed to bring the Wii back to life. Relatively easy to fit with the help of a YouTube video. You will need a tri-wing screw driver though, so order one at the same time.

Perfect replacement, promptly sent.
Exact replacement for the drive in my existing Wii. Followed the replacement guide on iFixit (there's about a million screws to get to it) and had my broken Wii back up and running within half an hour. Only constructive feedback would be the packaging. The drive arrived in a "jiffy" bag, which my postman pushed through our letterbox resulting in having a four-foot drop end-on onto a hard floor. One of the plastic screw guides was cracked (almost certainly as a result of this), though it was fortunately still good enough to use and the drive still functions fine. Would recommend a bit more padding round the ends to avoid similar incidents.Exact replacement for the drive in my existing Wii. Wii replacement drive
Disc started to eject once inserted. Bought this drive as the cost was excellent. Not sure of the fitting but gambled and it worked. Kids are now happy again. Hardest thing was getting the tri head screwdriver to undo the Wii cover. Recommend

Perfect to resurrect a dead Wii
Well packaged, really good value for money. Within 45 minutes what was once a very dead Wii was once again up & running. Plenty of good YouTube videos on how to replace it, watch the video FIRST! You will need a small Tri-Wing screwdriver but apart from that very straightforward.
