Very slight everyday performance increase over 4 core.
Made an upgrade from a 4 core 2.6 to this 6 core 2.7. Very slight improvement which is only noticeable during multi core intensive operations. I think the days of upgrading CPU’s are almost over due to the ssd revolution. I less than halved my boot up time with my first SSD. I only get about a 1-2% increase in boot up speed with this upgrade. Works faultlessly though.
