    Great product for use in High Temperatures

    No problems found with the product. You must blend well for long time success. The temperature resistance has show to be great........used on aluminium marine engine cylinder head.

    Did not work on my exhaust.

    I followed the instructions to the letter. I moulded the mix round my exhaust muffler and left it to cure as instructed. I was very easy to shape round the crack. I pushed it into the crack. When i started up my small genserator within 2 minutes the putty had cracked and broken off. I will need to think of something else to seal the crack as this putty did not work. I cannot comment on quality as it may work well to fix other breakages.

    Depends on application - not suitable for motorcycle exhaust systems

    2 stars is quite harsh as it depends on the application with this product. I purchased to try and repair a leak in motorcycle header pipes. It’s easy to use, mould and apply and appears to set very strong but it broke away after a few minutes riding, the heat and pressure from header pipes was too much. Might be different in a car manifold or on other applications but this is definitely not suitable for motorcycle down pipes/head pipes.

    Recommendable product - keep some in your toolbox !

    I needed a quick fix on a cracked exhaust manifold. I doubted its capabilities after reading through what it claimed to do. However I was wrong - easy mix of the putty and straight on after a bit of wire brushing. I left it over night and the following day it had formed a gas tight seal that will certainly last until a get a chance to replace the manifold properly.
