LG 'Manual' TV remote control better than that 'Magic' thing
LG TVs are well made, within limits - we had one fail within warranty. The 'Magic' remote control is inteded to work like a 'wand-mouse', moving a cursor around the TV screen depending on where it is pointed. Unfortunately, the alignment goes 'off-beam' quite quickly and the 'wand' has to be held at an angle to where the cursor is located. This is counter-intuitive. The Magic remote also has to be 'paired' with the TV. The manual push-button remote works on any LG TV (even very old ones) - its only fault is that the buttons are too close together - unlike the Panasonic remotes - and buttons are thus hard to find in low light. Great little remote - no programming needed!
Would have given it 5 stars but the netflix button doesn't work. Great little remote and has the smart feature needed (which didn't work on my other remote). Would defo recommend.

Our remote stopped working ages ago,so it was up and down to change channels on the telly. I saw this product on eBay and thought for the cost,I’d got nothing to lose if it didn’t work! This tv is in my granddaughters room, who,like most teenagers,likes to watch tv in bed! I was amazed that the new remote worked immediately, with no need to program.
