I have run a Dynaco ST-70 since 2012 and done my share of tube rolling. As power tubes tubes go, it takes a lot to impress me. I am impressed. Moved even. These 6CA7EH gave remarkable emotion and detail in every genre I tried. Holographic soundstage. My new favorites. Love 'em. The driver board is discretely modified to provide individual biasing as well as AC balancing. For your entertainment here are pictures of the tubes, the bias pots between them peeking up through the cooling slots ( two are real and two are reflections in the glass), and the old per channel bias pots repurposed for AC balance. Speakers are old school ADS 710's from circa 1976 and rebuilt in 2013.

Awesome tubes but beware that they bias hotter then el34 I will have to alter my dynaco so I can attenuate bias better. This is an amazing tube bass is clear and punchy and much more enjoyable to me then the muddy jjel34. Highs are crisp and filled with emotion. I have these partnered with nos rca cleartops and Klipsch forte’s there is no brightness here just great detail retrieval, I now know what the mean by “air”. Good luck these tubes are worth it.

These are the most balanced sounding tubes I've tried in the power section of ma Marshall jcm 600 2x12 combo , very clear gain, although not as hi gain as Mullard reissue el34s, run cooler and sound more like the classic plexi , great for the old school stuff but probably not so much for modern metal hi gain, very sweet and musical, touch sensitive ,clear defined notes even with gain cranked, love em

I like them better than Mullard re-issue. Great bass and a very smooth top end in my Stereo70
