Shannon Stine is a versatile guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who is a two-time National Merle Travis Thumbpicking champion. She incorporates the thumbpicking style into her original compositions, which run the style gamut from lush folk-pop to bouncy traditional country. Songs like 'One More Time', 'Little Boat' and 'See Me Cry' evoke strong emotion and heartbreak, while songs such as 'I Don't Wanna Do That Anymore', 'and 'Next Ex-Wife' are up-tempo, fun and more light-hearted numbers with a strong country flair. Cover tunes by Merle Travis and Johnny Mullins and a traditional instrumental song round out this eclectic album. Stine plays all the guitar tracks and is joined by guest musicians Jimmy Rea (drums) and Chad Graves (steel guitar, dobro), Molly Healey (cello, violin), Michael Stine (bass), and Riley Robison (arco bass); and guest vocalists on harmonies, Lori Locke, Jennifer Reisch and Terry Cone.
