Cant fault DeWalt!
This jigsaw is far better than cheaper ones I have had and still have. Some say you pay for the name. I beg to differ. I cannot fault the quality of any of my DeWalt tools and feel that as a keen DIYer, it is still important to have good tools. On opening and trying this jigsaw, I was amazed at the difference in power and quality feel compared to others. Not having an actual DIY need for it at the moment, I gave it a go on a piece of spare wood and can honestly say that it performed brilliantly. Plus as a bonus, it comes in a Tstak case which sits nicely with my others!This jigsaw is far better than cheaper ones I have had and still have. Some say you pay for the name. I beg to differ. Reliable quality product.
A well priced product made better by the inclusion of a wide range of quality Dewalt blades. I have found it very difficult to accurately secure the blade at 90 degrees to the base plate. The anti splinter guide is very fragile and a not worth using.

This jigsaw is good quality. It has a soft start motor and an ingenious quick release blade locking device. While using the jigsaw it feels powerfull and cuts through wood with ease. I am glad I bought this model.
