Item was 6 months past its best before date, date is shown on external plastic packaging. I carefully read the listing before buying and it did not mention that item was old stock. I contacted seller who said it would be perfectly fine to use it - they had sold old stock previously! (internet advice contradicts that - says can cause damage) Seller not being honest with listings. I was offered a refund if I sent the item back or a 5% discount. I would have preferred to have got what I ordered!
