These are good quality LEDs, 7watt daylight are exceptionally bright, the white slightly curved diffuser throws a very even light with wider spread and less shadow than clear fronted type. Fitted half a dozen about 18 months ago and so far they have been good and have retained the initially brightness so have now fitted more in another room. 7 watt daylights are really very bright might want to consider a lesser wattage or warm white depending the room and how many downlights you have

I bought these bulbs to replace some existing LED spotlights that were about 15 years old. The difference was amazing. I didn't realise how dim the old lights had got (even LEDs don't last forever) until I fitted the new ones. Newer LEDs are also more efficient of course. Even though these lamps are 7 watt rather than the old ones 4 watt they do not get as warm, which shows more of the electricity is being converted into light.
