Super buy! You can connect it directly to the ST or external drive. I connected it to the back of my 1GB Atari Supra Hard Drive (case removed to move power cable) then copied everything from the Supra to SD4ST. I'm not proficient at imaging disks so I formatted and partitioned the SD card to match the Supra. Then copied Supra partitions into the corresponding SD4ST partitions. Worked like a charm. Now I can boot directly from the SD card & can remove Supra or use as a backup or extra storage.

This unit works great. Make sure that you use the right image for the version of TOS on your ST. I ended up downloading an alternate disk image for my machine. The out of box image supports 1.04 and higher.
