BEWARE:Received an used item listed as new and several issues upon inspection: Item arrived in a carton box, not retail packaged as expected;Multiple scuff marks and scratches present on the item;Missing metal piece to connect the back piece of the lock to the door;Key provided does not match the lock; incorrect key received.Agreed to keep the item with the seller promising partial refund. There was no indication that item was to be shipped using retail package. Product was new, sealed and unused. Buyer claim is bogus, since they declined our offer to exchange or replace item. Buyer indention was to gain refund. We accommodated buyer request to provide a 20% refund for this order to keep the item. Product was new, sealed and unused. I like to request ebay to remove this feedback.

    Exactly what we wanted.

    We use it in a vacation rental, and the ability to monitor and remotely open it and provide discrete codes for our guests were the big selling points. Installation and set-up was simple. Keyed back-up is a nice feature if the batteries ever go dead. You do need a wireless access point in the house to enjoy all these features.

    Z wave locks are better if you have ring alarm

    It is over priced. I bought it to sync it with my ring app, well it does lock and unlock through ring app but it doesn’t arm or disarm the ring alarm system. You still have to run for the ring lock pad. It makes you download a special Schlage app to work. I love the older version Z wave locks better. No app required if you have ring system and app. You can lock/unlock through the app and arm/disarm through the lock.

    Great Replacement to the older model

    I bought this one, replacing the previous model, only because it connected directly to the Wifi via Schlage Mobile App. I had some difficulty with the older model for it didnt connect to the smart hub, or compatible to the Google Assistant. Not to mention that it was noisy when opening or locking. This newer model replaced all of that and more. I gave it 4 stars only cause this one is a bit just as noisy as the first. Otherwise, it would've been perfect.

    Easy to mount and easy setup

    Good craftmanship and the lock is both easy to mount as well as easy to setup. It took me about 10 minutes to mount and about 10 minutes to setup and have it ready to go.
