  • 990 Lessons of Spanish give the game hours of play and tons of value.

For those who live in areas populated by predominantly Spanish-speakers, this can be your ticket to understanding the language more. While My Spanish Coach is no Rosetta Stone, it gives the $300 software a run for its money. As mentioned before, My Spanish Coach has 990 lessons of Spanish for you to master. Each lesson can take anywhere from 10-15 minutes to complete if you're focused on the game. Each lesson is built from two blocks: a lecture session and a hands-on session. You will be required to scroll through lecture notes on Spanish to prepare yourself to complete the Spanish challenges that could come in the form of a crossword puzzle, a memory game, a flash card game and more. You will have to play the challenges multiple times for memorization and to "master" the lesson and ...

  • My Spanish Coach (PlayStation Portable, 2008)

I have purchased this product to see how it compares to taking Spanish classes in school. I would have to say that this game teaches you a lot about Spanish and how to speak it correctly and fluently. But it does not compare to real classes. I have taken four years of Spanish and would say that this game would cover about one year worth of instruction in school. For those people who already know Spanish this is a great refresher if you have forgotten something, and the dictionary is excellent. But for those of you who would like to learn how to speak the Spanish language, I would RENT this game first if you can to see if it is worth your time, if you like it and want to learn Spanish, go ahead and buy this game, but if you do not like it, I would not buy it. But remember this, if you ...

  • Great Spanish Tool & Coach

Great Game, and it really helps me with my spanish. Is start off baby - so on. Also has a great dictionary. I was using it when I had family from Mexico Visit. Only bad thing about it, it takes a bit time to load. Bottom Line: Great Game for people who are willing to learn spanish. Very good tool to have if you are going out to a spanish speaking country, or have family that speaks spanish. (A-)

  • Nice game, doesn't really teach

Cheap isn't always best. While Rosetta Stone tests your speech, vocabulary, and word recognition - My Spanish Coach only teaches you vocabulary while speaking key words. You're really not going to learn much in my opinion. Then again I've already learned most of it in High School. It gets to a point where the player or the student will have to push himself a bit further because the game is fit to a point where the player will just know which button to press without even understanding the word itself. Let me explain, I can read Spanish but I can not speak it thoroughly. Some lessons were too easy to pass but when I did pass them I was not satisfied so I kept going back to that lesson to try and speak the language myself. The game becomes a game and not much of a tool. It's definitely ...

  • PSP My Spanish Coach

I noticed that the area I live in has more and more people speaking Spanish moving in. I've been out of school for over twenty years and decided that I needed a refresher course for my Spanish. This is an excellent program for the old and young. The program has the language spoken to you and you can record your voice for a comparsion. There are several games to help you retain what you've been taught. You can learn at your own pace. There are several words that were new to me and I had two years of Spanish in high school and college. I usually play movies with my PSP but I find myself wanting to continue learn Spanish to the next level.
