    Solid upgrade!

    This 8GB upgrade went into a Dell XPS 420 desktop system from 2008. Previously, the desktop had 4GB and performed well, but for the price, it was well worth it to upgrade to the maximum allowed memory. I had also replaced the 500GB hard drive with a 1TB and replaced the stock video card with an nVidia.I was able to install Windows 10 with ease. I expect this will last at least until the end of Windows 10's useful life.

    Memory passed from 3 gb to 3.25 gb and the speed stay to 666mhz. The problem is probably the computer!!!

    Dell 2 Gb memory chips

    These chips were purchased specifically to upgrade my Dell computer from Vista to Windows 7. Dell recommended that I increase my RAM from 3 Gb to 8 Gb, so I purchased 4, 2 GB chips and installed them prior to making the OS upgrade. I did need some help with the OS upgrade from an online technical support service, but the new RAM and OS work great now that everything is installed.

    Much needed upgrade

    My computer had just 2GB of memory and was becoming sluggish. I actually thought I had a virus or something affecting my pc. I even had someone look at it and he told me I was running out of memory. Bought the memory and put it in and now my pc is fast again.
