Item as described. However Seller charged nearly double the actual postage costs. Paid £2.99 p&p, post office costs £1.55, politely asked Seller to kindly refund excess postage costs. Seller would not refund excess postage charged, so clearly makes a profit by also charging excess postage costs. Very disappointed as the packaging was only an envelope

This was an auction item and although you believe I fleeced you for £1.44 I think bidders take into consideration the postage cost when bidding. I did say you could return the item for a full refund if you weren’t happy but you chose not to and rather leave neutral feedback. I did misjudge the postage cost but it’s not actually £1.44 as I have paid eBay fees on postage, packaging and my printer ink and paper costs 50p per label. Normally I absorb these costs.

I've been honest about my buying experience in that the item was as described, the Seller charges excessive postage costs and when politely informed refuses to do the courteous thing of refund the difference. I feel that not all Buyers would be happy to pay higher postage costs than is actually necessary for posting of an item, this is why Ebay has the Star Rating system. Profiteering on postage costs is not necessary, instead setting a higher starting bid price would avoid the need for this.
