The FinePix S2000HD is the first Fujifilm model to offer full compatibility with High Definition Television (HDTV) systems for both stills and movies.The FinePix S2000HD is a compact and lightweight 10-megapixel digital camera with an incredible 15x optical zoom lens. Packed with technology and features, the HD output on this model allows the camera to display ultra clear high definition photographs and movies on HDTV.The FinePix S2000HD features Fujifilm's Dual Image Stabilization mode, which combines a mechanically stabilized Super CCD sensor with high ISO sensitivities, for total anti-blur protection. The combination of these technologies reduces the blurring effect of both hand-shake and subject movement even further to provide the highest quality digital pictures yet, with sharp, clean and clear results no matter what the shooting conditions.Red-eye is the single biggest reason why the best portraits are ruined. The FinePix S2000HD uses Face Detection technology to find and instantly correct any red-eye from every face in the frame as the shot is taken. The system on the FinePix S2000HD will only correct redness in the pupil of the eye, not elsewhere in the picture, because the camera uses eye detection within face detection to find the pupil. While other cameras can sometimes convert lips or red jewelry to brown or blue, the FinePix S2000HD never gets it wrong.

    Old codger struggle

    I had memories of my Fuji s5500 which I really enjoyed -- this model is more complicated to use, Perhaps it is I am nearer 80 than 70 and the brain does not operate as quickly.

    This product does all that I require and I could not be more satisfied

    This was an expensive item for me but a new camera was going to cost over £200 and this one was recommended by a relative. It is in first class working condition, and has an assortment of extras including a leather case. All the bits were there including the handbook that was sent separately. Have taken plenty of pictures especially of birds but the camera really excels on landscapes, and indoor shots have been surprisingly good. For me a basic photographer it does everything I need and I would recommended this product but as yet I have not used all the features

    Best buy for a long time

    Since a very early age I have always wanted to have a decent camera of the SLR type but other things have always taken priority. Now though, I am the proud owner of a fantastic DSLR camera and use it everyday so much so that I have decided to try and take up photography properly and that is all down to this purchase it has sparked me off on buying a load of studio equipment ready to pursue a dream. This is an extremely affordable camera with fantastic functions and abilities, not being a pro I can't highlight what its missing, ok your stuck with not being able to upgrade the lense but for a budding ameture its perfect.

    excellent value for the money

    this has got to be the best camera i have used so far, the quality of images are excellent, and the menu is very user frendly, for someone who is first starting photography it is top draw, video recording is good with high def quality, and with a good high capacity memory card, (mine is two gig) on the highest quality, you can get about 20 mins recording time. a great camera for the beginer.
