After solving the mysteries of Myst and Riven: The Sequel to Myst, the universe was seemingly brought into a state of peace. Unfortunately, the newfound harmony would only last so long. An enraged individual is seeking out vengeance on Sirrus and Achenar, the two men responsible for destroying his homeland. After their demise, he's planning on punishing Atrus and his family members for their insolence.<br><br>As a lone adventurer, you must prevent these events from happening and restore order to the once peaceful world. In Myst III: Exile, you'll explore five mysterious worlds filled with lavish gardens, ancient ruins, and complex facilities. Each period also shares common links with the main storyline. Yet instead of using a static point-and-click navigational system to go from point A to point B, Presto Studios has revamped the moving process with a 360-degree rotational engine wrapped around rendered 3D environments.<br><br>Environments are laced with puzzles and interactive objects. While some puzzles focus on logic, others require deciphering in solving visual teasers and arrangements. When the solution isn't readily apparent, you can search out clues hidden throughout the current settings. Hints are also sporadically placed on the official website at www.myst3.com. Solving puzzles advances the storyline and positions you one step closer to preventing the villain's diabolical plans.

    Great Games

    Great puzzel games, with compelling storys. Graphics are very good for their time. Some of my favorite games. Not for the faint of heart. Some puzzels can be extremely frustrating.

    A Once Played Amazing Journey

    The one thing that first struck me about this game when I first played it was the graphics. You seemed to be actually playing a live action movie in parts. In certain parts of the game, live action characters interacted with you which I have never seen done in a game before. The amazing scenery and realms in this game are beautiful and imaginative. The integration of the puzzles into the environement are sheer genius. The puzzles are difficult, but not impossible to solve. The only thing bad about this game is that it has little if no replay value. Once you finish it, you solved all the puzzles so there is no use playing it again. I guess I decided to buy because I heard about the Myst games for a long time and never really got interested in them. Then one day I decided to try it. I ...

    Awesome game!

    I love this game! It is a huge leap from Riven (the second MYST game) in both game-play and story. I have solved it before but still play it because it's so full of puzzles that you forget the solutions after awhile. I love the whole MYST line of games.
