Great nifty fifty!
great nifty fifty. Very small size for a f1.4. Yes the body is plastic but its sturdy enough & the mount is metal. Results are very good and I can't justify a more expensive alternative.

Stunning results guaranteed with this little beauty.
Absolutely the best portrait lens ever. I recently used it to take indoor snaps at a family wedding. I could not believe the fantastic performance in low light. Definiton and balance are astounding. Worth every penny.

Fast and Neat
If you want a fast prime lens which is brilliant in low light or a lens for portraits then this is the one for you ....small so easy to carry around Pentax quality and I think Pentax are still there with the best. A really good product

Just what I wanted!
Just received this lens today and I've been playing with it on my K-5. First impressions are that it is very sharp, with good colour balance. It's very compact and light, almost makes my DSLR feel like the Canon AE-1P I had back in the day.... Build quality is very good, with no trace of play or drift in the focusing or f-stops; I like the fact that the aperture ring has half stops, at least up to f22 when there's only a full stop to f32.
