While that may not seem like much, it's enough to let them wiggle in the clamp, where the originals were held securely. That being said, the springloaded button at the botton of the clamp will still stop the equipment from wobbling freely. And, I thought I was out of luck on getting mnore plates for my tripod until I found this auction, so these have some value. I will prioritize usage of these units lower than my originals.
